Five years have passed since the events of Taco Tuesday. Duplo invaders from outer space have turned Bricksburg into a post-apocalyptic wasteland but Emmet still pretends that everything is awesome. However, when his friends, including Wyldstyle, get kidnapped by a new invader called Sweet Mayhem, Emmet must embark on a mission into space to rescue them.
